the reason we have been sosuccessful in providing referees in seasons past is because every team haspitched in and provided a level 1 certified and assignable referee into thepool (to do a minimum of 3 matches).&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Until notified otherwise, wehave to plan on a similar policy so we can cover spring matches.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;"&gt;As of now, I have had referees volunteer tocover for Anderson, USI, Wabash, Purdue A and B, IU A and B, IU women, BSUWomen.&amp;nbsp;&lt;span style="background-color: white;"&gt;Columbus, Indy Men A and B, WhiteRiver&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;NOT covered&lt;/b&gt; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; La Salette Academy, Georgetown, IL &amp;nbsp;(a TJ course will follow)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Saturday, 4 February &lt;/b&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Marquette HS, Michigan City, IN&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Saturday, 21 January&lt;/b&gt; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Foundation For Youth, 405 Hope Ave., Columbus, IN&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;The purpose of this course is to enable officials to acquire basic skills to officiate safe, enjoyable competition. &amp;nbsp;The course covers referee priorities, game knowledge and management and an introduction to the Laws. &amp;nbsp;There is pre-class work that must be completed (see below), class work and Rugby activity in a fieldhouse, so wear suitable clothing and shoes. &amp;nbsp;The course will begin at 8am and last until approximately 5:00 pm (although we may be out earlier depending on the class). &amp;nbsp;At the La Salette site, the TJ course will start at 4PM and be finished by 5:30.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The cost of the L1 course is $50.00 and $15 to cover lunch and gas donation for the visiting instructor. &amp;nbsp;Registration is online through the &lt;a href="http://www.usarugby.org/"&gt;usarugby.org&lt;/a&gt; website. &amp;nbsp;Click on Referees andRegister for a Referee Training Course. &amp;nbsp;In order to receive certification you need to hold current USA Rugby membership including registration as a referee at &lt;a href="https://membership.usarugby.org/default.aspx"&gt;membership.usarugby.org/default.aspx&lt;/a&gt; . &amp;nbsp;You may attend the course without that, but if you wish to referee, membership is required. &amp;nbsp;The TJ course is an additional $25.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Please complete the IRB Rugby Ready online study prior to the course at &lt;a href="http://www.irbrugbyready.com/" target="_blank"&gt;www.irbrugbyready.com/ &lt;/a&gt;. &amp;nbsp;It is required that individuals take an open book law exam; please complete prior to the course at &lt;a href="http://www.irblaws.com/"&gt;www.irblaws.com&lt;/a&gt;. &amp;nbsp;Links to both of the on-line courses are also available on the &lt;a href="http://www.usarugby.org/"&gt;www.usarugby.org&lt;/a&gt;
